Färg som håller år efter år – en annons

Colour that holds year after year – an advertisement or advert

In English, the adjectives (words that describe the nouns – subjects or objects) do not change their form either with singular or plural nouns. But in Swedish language, it is not the case. In Swedish, the adjectives have three forms i.e., with en- words, with ett- words and plural words. Many adjectives change their form, some may be similar to both en- words and ett- words and few may have the same form with en- words, ett- words and plural words.

Adjectives describe a noun: a thing or a person appears. Adjektiv beskriver ett substantiv: en saker eller person ser ut.

Colours are a common form of describing a thing.

Colour = Färg  (en färg – färgen – färger). Färg in Swedish has two meanings: (1) colour or color (2) paint
