Preposition: PREPOSITION

Preposition är en del av ordklasser. PREPOSITION IS ONE OF THE PARTS OF SPEECH.

Prepostioner är småord som ofta framför ett substantiv eller pronomen. PREPOSITIONS ARE SMALL WORDS THAT OFTEN APPEAR IN FRONT OF A NOUN OR A PRONOUN (IN A SENTENCE, IN A PHRASE).

Prepositioner är små ord kommer innan platser eller tider. PREPOSITIONS ARE SMALL WORDS THAT COME BEFORE PLACES OR TIMES (IN A SENTENCE, IN A PHRASE)

Prepositioner uttrycker en relation mellan substantivuttrycket/pronomenet och resten av stasens delar. PREPOSITIONS EXPRESS A RELATION BETWEEN A SUBJECT (part of a sentence) OR PRONOUN AND THE REST (OF THE PART IN A SENTENCE).

Prepositioner är nästan alltid obetonde. PREPOSITIONS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS UNSTERSSED.

En preposition – prepositionen – prepositioner: A PREPOSITION – THE PREPOSITION – PREPOSITIONS

Prepositioner anger ofta läge eller riktning. PREPOSITIONS OFTEN INDICATE THE LOCATION OR DIRECTION.

NOTE: Some words function as more than a preposition. For example, för is a preposition, and also functions as a conjunction, and as an adverb; among others, so is om!
