In Swedish language there are 29 alphabets (Latin or Roman) only, 3 more than in the English language: Å, Ä, Ö: å, ä, ö. Alphabets in Swedish are A-Ö while in English it is A-Z.
There is an uncertain recognition to ‘W’ in Swedish alphabets: some list it, and many do not list it. So, the alphabets in Swedish are either 28 or 29! In some books ‘W’ is there and in others, ‘W’ is missing! Swedish is written both in lower cases and upper cases: Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd … Åå, Ää, Öö.
The 3 extra letters have diacritics such as a ring and umlauts (omljud): Å, Ä, Ö :-
Ö & ö – Latin capital and lowercase letter o with diaeresis or umlaut
Ä & ä – Latin capital and lowercase letter a with diaeresis

A to Z in English but A to Ö in Swedish
Alphabets of other languages also appear now and then, here and there in Swedish: ø (Øresundbroen/Öresundbron/Oresund Bridge: the 8 km rail- and motorway bridge across the Øresund strait between Sweden and Denmark); and, also é (from French), ü (from German) among others.
